The Clorox Company is a large international holding of consumer goods, such as: bleaches under the Clorox brand, as well as dye Clorox 2 and a color enhancer; home care products, especially under the brands Clorox, Formula 409, Liquid-Plumr, Pine-Sol , SOS and Tilex, natural products under the Green Works brand, and professional products for cleaning, disinfection and catering.The company also offers charcoal under the Kingsford and Match Light brands, bags, wrappers and containers under the Glad brand, cat litter products, digestive health products woks and sauces mainly under the brands Hidden Valley, KC Masterpiece, Kingsford and Soy Vay, water filtration systems and filters, natural personal care products and food additives Most of the products with the company's trademarks are leaders in the relevant market categories, founded in 1913, under the name Electro-Alkaline Company, and in 1916 launched the popular Clorox Liquid Bleach. In 1928, the company was renamed Clorox Chemical Co. and went public by issuing shares on the Pacific Exchange. In 1957, the company was bought by Procter & Gamble and for 10 years struggled for its own independence, which was achieved in 1969. Since the 70s, Clorox began to buy smaller companies and expanded its own range of products. In 1999, the company acquired First Brands, which was the largest transaction in its history. This allowed Clorox to become part of the Fortune 500 in 2000.
