Oil prices remain relatively stable. Investors are assessing the impact of the recently announced U.S. tariffs on countries that purchase Venezuelan oil and the uncertain outlook for global demand. Contracts for oil Brent crude oil contracts are trading at $73.01 per barrel, while WTI crude oil contracts are trading in the zone of the the $69.00 mark. Earlier, President Trump announced the imposition of a 25% tariff on countries importing oil and gas from Venezuela, which raised concerns of a slowing global economy and lower demand for oil. Technically, the market is above a significant support zone.
